This series of stuffed animals was created for the Pittsburgh Mini-Maker Faire in 2013. They are knitted animals with Lilypad components.
The first one has a series of LEDs that light up when the circuit is completed. The circuit can be completed when his hands touch each other, his head, or his toes.
The second is a mother and baby pair. The baby has a patch of conductive cloth on its stomach that completes the circuit on the mother's pouch, providing power to the Lilypad Twinkle.
The pink owl has an Arduino and accelerometer that light one of LEDs, depending on the orientation of the owl.The octopus has an Arduino and a sound sensor that controls the blinking of its LEDs and the pitch of a buzzer.
Here they are at the Mini-Maker Faire!
