Garden Gnome

The garden gnome was created in January 2018. He rotates on his base until he finds someone with his distance sensor, and then he waves. He has his own mini robot garden!

Starting from a sketch, I first laser cut and tested the mechanisms that turn the gnome back and forth (servo motor) and wave his arm (gear motor with a crank).

Then I dressed him up and added flowers. The daisies were from this pattern, and the hyacinths were from this pattern.
