This robot was created for the MakerEd Convening in Pittsburgh in 2019, because one of the first nickelodeons (early movie theaters) was in Pittsburgh.
An LED inside the box provides light to project images on the wall of the box. The images are formed by animal-shaped paper clips mounted in an arc of thick paper connected to a servo. The servo changes the image that is displayed.
One of my favorite parts is the dinosaurs watching from inside the box - it is a horror movie about the rise of mammals!
