This robot was created in memory of Ruth Bader Ginsberg after her death in 2020. It features some of her most famous quotes, as well as one of her trademark crocheted collars!
The RBG robot is similar to the Nickelodeon in some ways. An old oatmeal container was used to create an inner and an outer cylinder. A position servo was used to rotate the inner cylinder within the outer one.
A tri-color LED was placed over the edge of the cylinders to provide a backlight for the quotes. It was then held in place by the lid to the oatmeal container, which was painted and decorated with the lace collar.
